If you go to the store to buy chicken for something, what kind to you get?
Whole;
Packaged from the self-serve meat;
Individual pieces from the butcher counter.
And I ask because I have a new pan (yay mom) and will be christening it with coq au vin tonight. And I expect I will buy the leg/thigh combo package. But I may tempt fate, practice my skills, and buy a whole bird.

My husband is the gourmet in this household. I buy frozen breasts (snicker) and usually grill or bake them. He's the one who braises and broils.
